I hear his call Beckon call, beacon call I close my eyes, wait For the sign, meditate, calm Inward, look He dances around me Hears me Finds me I look within, find His notes move Stir me awake Awake He calls Beckon call, beacon call We see We are on the threshold. --------------------------------- E.M.L. |

Wonderfully thought out and exquisitely written, Ms E. "Threshold Song" is a stunning beauty. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Thank you Jerry, the poem was inspired by the music of Collective Awakening. As they played their music I felt an overwhelming sense of One Love; the Love that will find me. |

I had the sense you were writing about a spiritual or future One, Ms E., but didn't say it because I hate to be wrong on these things, so I hold back and substitute other generic comments. Thank you for confirming my thoughts were on track. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

I would like to add Jerry, the couple, who are the musicians in Collective Awakening, are on u-tube. Seeing the love transpire between them as they played was palatable. |

It is amazing how thoroughly music can move people; it is emotions in sounds, and exceptional musicians can weave them through their listeners, pulling their own emotions into the music. Love this. |

"He calls Beckon call, beacon call We see We are on the threshold." With such deep emotion. This is pure love from your heart. Very inspirational. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. Maranatha! [This message has been edited by JL (02-14-2012 01:52 PM).] |

Ebony, the Play on Words is wonderful and insightful. Brief, and when you allow, brevity making very wide, sweeping commentary in silence... well done, m'friend. |

Yes, EG, you are on the threshold of something..I like this so far, but the poem begs me to ask for more...what happens next, after you cross? There are many meanings to the word "threshold" please let me hear another song....:-) |
