* * * Love is not subject to veto it needs not ask for permission to be received, given and shared, rejection is not an option it opens double closed heart-doors without secret key formulas. It rises with the sun It rises with the moon and with every single star in the whole infinite vastness of our awe inspiring Universe. To pollution it is immune. Love vibes travel at high speed freeway-style on preferential lanes through the air and through space. It dances softly in your hair and skips wildly through tall grass. Love is the nightingale who never stops singing within your heart garden. May we become aware of IT and play ITS tune ... Love is the all pervading divine breath. Love mends all the wounds that still bleed on our beloved Earth. Love is at once the nucleus of the smallest imaginable particle and the invisible golden light dome that keeps All there is together in mind-boggling harmony. Love adds its grace to your tears like a rainbow that shines through clouds. Love blooms in your smiles and straightens your back when you forget who you are and where you come from. Love is the never drying out river that invites you to kneel down to sip from its life giving waters. It is the common denominator of all living beings and Nature itself, it is ordinary and extraordinary ... Love is this and more, much more, so much more. Love is the main ingredient of the miracle that is YOU ... Love is All There Is. Love is YOU. May we become aware of IT and play ITS tune in all we do ... * * * |

"Love is not subject to veto it need not ask for permission to be received, given and shared, rejection is not an option it opens double closed heart-doors without secret key formulas." Yes, Margherita, love doesn't ask, it's without permission, it just Is, and always will be, it will never leave. Your words sing through my being. "Love vibes travel at high speed freeway-style on preferential lanes through the air and through the space. It dances softly in your hair and skips wildly through tall grass." Love has no boundaries, no walls, no space between ... You have insipired me Margherita. Thank you, Ms. E |

Amazing words concerning our most precious emotion, love. Margherita, you wove love into our hearts and minds and souls in this wonderful poem. You actually had me smiling. I hear people, and I used to be one of them, that love is greedy, manipulative, cheating and destructive. As I said, I used to believe that. Not any more. Not since love has found me at this ripe old age. I have lost my rough edge because of love, and that doesn't mean that I have become a wimp. It means that I look through different eyes than I did before my darling came into my life. If someday she isn't still in my life, which I fervently hope won't happen, I will still love her and keep the flame of love burning until I close my eyes for the last time. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Margherita, you have captured love in a woderous "snow globe" of expression. Shaken up, turned upside down and peered at from every angle it is precious and beautiful with words that could only have come from your ever loving heart. This is inspirational Lori |

Thank you so much, dear Jimmy, for your loving reply and for making me see that the nightingale was actually mute (grammar problem) Now the voice is there! Thank you, dear Ebonygirl, for your most loving comment. It's a joy to hear you felt inspired. Dear Jerry, thank you for your wonderful comment. You are so right, love cannot deny itself in its deepest nature. When we love we are in a state of grace, because we are meant to love and to be loving beings, no doubt. Your insightful words are a blessing. Dear Lori, I love snow globes! Thank you so much for your highly enjoyed loving comment. Thank you, dear Yann, for telling me so kindly and generously that you enjoyed my words. Love inspires, yes, always! Have a beautiful Sunday all! Margherita |

Love doesn't need permission or require reciprocation... and those facets of love are some of its most beautiful... and some of its most painful. Loving is a gift... and whether it's received with great glee and gratitude or tossed in the nearest rubbish bin, the giver cannot stop its being just because they know or fear its reception. I've picked myself and the love I offered out of that rubbish bin... and been amazed and grateful when I received love I never could have deserved... and yet, knowing its pinnacles and its pains, could never have written love's simple existence with half the beauty your pen has poured forth here. This is absolutely lovely... and going into my library! *S* |

Dear Ruth, your comment touches me deeply, as it springs from your own precious experience. Thank you from my heart for the gift of your sensitivity. And ... you do deserve all the love you receive! There is no doubt about that! Love, Margherita |

It has been a while since I have had the honor to read a Margherita poem here, but it has been worth the wait...:-) "Love is the never drying out river that invites you to kneel down to sip from its life giving waters. It is the common denominator of all living beings and Nature itself, it is ordinary and extraordinary ..." My favorite stanza in this.. The last line is most important to remember, as it explains the duality that exists, in the meaning of the word. Thank you M "Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance." |

quote: If I read this anywhere, I swear, I would think of you. This poem is you. There are few people that I am familiar with who personify love as you do. You are a beautiful woman with a loving soul. Alison |

Ah, Margherita, you have depicted love in it's TRUEest sense here. It is never ending, and self replenishing. If it resides in you, you don't pick and choose who you love... you just love. If it doesn't reside in you, there's not much but emptiness no matter what you do to amuse yourself, or who you've arrayed yourself with. Without it, in a room full of friends you'll stand alone. With it, you'll lie die alone but feel completely full and at peace in the knowledge that you have lived and loved the best you can. You've stirred me with this one. Thank you. Michael |
