If Love Has Its Way

Woman that I love
sweetheart I adore
now I know I made a mistake
when I told you not to
visit me anymore.

It wasn't cool
the actions of a fool
treating you that way was
a big mistake from yesterday.

Now a miracle
is within my sight
I can still talk to you
as days turn into night.

Its amazing how you
make my heart sing
my life is beautiful
with the smiles you bring.

You will be
my everything
one fine day
if love has its way.
