The moon lingers as the earth loses her attraction for the sun, as it peeks over the horizon with a pink particle glow. While the moon covets the body of the earth, tides begin to rise in the gloaming. The fickled earth waits patiently, the moon rises higher rocking the waves, to the peak of their crest in the menage a trois upon the sea bed. Gypsy ribbons..lavender gray, and midnight blue floats gracefully across the twilight skies. A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) |

I like the concept of this one. I wouldn't have thought of it at all. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
