This year when I’m asked what I’m thankful for the list is long and somewhat weird so that a simple response is hard to say First of all I’m just thankful to be here And for finding some of my missing marbles along the way My demons didn’t do me in And my house is feeling like my home again I’m thankful for all the things I have to complain about just because I can I’m thankful for all my emotions Because they are evidence that I can still feel I’m alive on the inside too I’m thankful for all the love I’ve been shown in all of love’s shapes and forms It blesses my heart to love them back and call them all my own I’m thankful for the magic of poetry The wizardry of written word finding common ground like a golden thread that entwines us LGR©11/19/12 [This message has been edited by Lori Grosser Rhoden (11-19-2012 02:18 PM).] |

Beautifully done, Lori, and you seem to have much to be thankful for this time around. Bless you. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

This is a nice time of year to be thankful for the little things. Enjoyed. A poem is never finished, only abandoned. |

How very well-worded. Well thought-out and clearly and effectively communicated. I'm glad I ran by today and got to read it. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
