Dreams and Regrets Approaching this ‘end of life’ in frequent contemplation of all that I shall miss the most … the early-rising mist on an ‘Indian Summer’ day the smell of wood smoke mid rainbow leaves on a crisp Autumn morning distant wind chimes and church bells on a brisk October evening any crescent moon on a starry winter night chipmunks and kitties and a thousand of Nature’s tiniest hidden things everything about the wilderness dreams of all the loves that ‘should have been’ --- b. e. adams (11/19/2012) |

"the early-rising mist on an ‘Indian Summer’ day the smell of wood smoke mid rainbow leaves on a crisp Autumn morning distant wind chimes and church bells on a brisk October evening" Excellent writing! Very well expressed visuals. Love this verse. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

Nicely done as always. Enjoyed your seasonal thoughts. A poem is never finished, only abandoned. |
