prayers for the reason why
# 9 Better safe than sorry

I think I got it
well mostly got it ...
well maybe...

I found a Savior
who bestowed the gift of life
interlocked with Grace and Mercy.
Mercy was rewriting my life
but as the pain proved too much to bear
I stayed the pen,
stopped trusting and built a wall.

Better safe than sorry I suppose
must have been my motive
for sorry I am beyond reason
sorry for something I cannot change
sorry
for something that has changed
me.

I stopped writing.
Stopped crying.
By means contrived
I survived.

Whatever works. Course the wall is still there. And you haven't stopped writing. You wrote this.
