okay, I'll admit it sometimes you interrupt my dreams last time you tiptoed across them I was wide awake and deep into Jethro Tull's aqua lung had my earphones on and was jammin' thinking of flower children free love and sittin' by the dock of that bay don't'ja know and there you were shatterin' my grove I know, I know, I'm too old to be groovin' after the shock of your appearance it's good to see you though I'd rather had some hotmail to read and swelter through ah, I know, I know those days are over still, it's good that you are here you remain important to me but you know that I am quite over my ridiculous and uncontainable need for reaching out to you and you with your just as insatiable want for things he could not or would not give you you reached out to others to complete your whole to satisfy that which had so long been neglected eh, we had our run now it's over and done why then do you continuously come to me to again start my heart to rushing oh, I see, I understand you don't come to me no, I reach out and pull you into my world in a supply and demand sort of way

Well written, I often feel the same way. Enjoyed your words.

oh wow, I too lived 'that life' and I could almost say I was with you til the end, but I have to be honest, I stopped reaching, stopped supplying demands...sigh...seems I stopped a lot of things......anyway let me stop rambling and compliment you on this, it is powerful to say the least...

I have often wondered as I think of people if perhaps they might be thinking of me too. It may not be but I like to think it is true. lori

Oh, I think in certain cases they are thinking of you, Lori, as you them. It is just according to how strong the bond is that builds those thoughts. Thank you for reading and commenting on this poem.~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~
