In the exotic jungle of love within the candlelight flowers and the forest of the rain you were the hunter. A hunter of the female species preying upon the vulnerable. You tracked with the final destination of capture in the cage of your ego. Pounching into our hearts like a cheetah when we least expected it we were not just jungle wildflowers under the canopy of stars but you were the devils apple after we tasted your love we became delirious in love with you. We were not strangler vines but sweet orchids upon a vine inviting you into our hearts. What were you afraid of? You disappeared like a water lily upon the River Amazon. You were afraid of being captured by the permanent scent of monogamy. A poem is never finished, only abandoned. |

A lot of men fit your very apt description of a scoundrel. I, myself, for a long time fell under that descriptive. Some of my past is filled with shame. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Ah yes, monogamy is any predators greatest fear. Nice twist, having the hunter running in the end. Michael |

Really liked the way you did this... Monogamy, the commitment to One, is the affirmation of love, and so called "fear of" is just a low class way of saying "I only "love" you enough to get you to join me in the boudoir. j. |
