She walked in the ivory sands ofWaikiki as he watched her from afar her platinum hair brushed by the wind in the plumeria breeze of her beauty she strolled the path toward the spell of his direction the brush of the sun painted her curves with a generous caramel tan from angelic face to tip of her toes she was the woman the goddess of his dreams she smiled within the thought of his embrace as their eyes locked with the key of desire as her presence left him breathless with passion this Dominican man with emerald eyes his bronze body did hypnotize he took her hand and melted within reflections, sapphire blue she fell in love with this man this man who belonged to another she kissed his lips for the last time and they tearfully said their good byes she held close their newborn baby their daughter with emerald eyes. Aw, sad poem, yes Victoria, but when you dig deeper into the words of it you realize that although it has a sad ending there were smiles even then. For from the first kiss to the birth of their daughter, to the last kiss, their time together was magical, and you can never take that away from either of them. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Yes it was eighteen years ago my daughter had a daugher with emerald eyes. A gorgeous grandaugher she is. She has seen her father a couple times since then and of course they do the text thing. Thanks for reading Jerry A poem is never finished, only abandoned. |

So sad but with a great ending that was, in fact, an even greater beginning. You have given expression to a true story superbly! |
