Rocket Fuel Maneuvers in the pitch dark to define the brilliant spark say you love this one too say what you mean to do with the contents of me lay your intentions down on me baby I got faith you can be the rocket fuel in my heart The man who sailed 'round his soul he sends me picture postcards inspiration for my magnetic pull to tug at all the girls' hearts Ah now, that would be the remedy to the vacuum of livin' lonely oh that should really be the redemption song to sing The strangest, saddest arc it's called my life stuck in park so say you hate this one too say what you thought you knew the imprint of happiness tell me you'll lift from this mess honey I've got faith you can be the rocket fuel in my life The Man who invented the heart slips into a dreamy coma and I then awake with a start to point my feet toward Tacoma Ah now here comes my life's comedy laugh along to the sound of tragedy oh but you should be the one to rescue me Ah now, sweet nectar of ecstasy upon wings of recklessness things you lift out of this mess hey now I've got the faith you gotta be the rocket fuel in my life and my heart and oh somewhere I thought I saw an unreal spark... I love this and Ethern is right. This could be a hit song. I liked "My life is stuck in park" along with alot of other lines. A fun read. ~Victoria~ A poem is never finished, only abandoned. |
