mistress of marbles in your avenue gown
segue of sorcery, soliciting sins
leaving the mosey town boys saturated
but you say their leather was laughter
and your pores were more notches acquired

when you did your school girl hemlines
with the bawdy body barely bronzed
something about pale gets more buckets
and just like that jill on the hill
you would help yourself to jack's also

you were a church girl on sunday evenings
when the pews were brothel bunked bards
and confessions were videotape recorded
for the handsome hands of full necklines
when you wore your pearls like freckles

and said dirty was pretty on your madonna
