Fair to middlin' of nowhere

My head is ached
My heart leaden
with a lack of empathy
My thoughts blackened
in fits of frustration
My outrage ignited
by greed and ignorance
The color of segregation
is green
from printing presses
of power
I've had my fill
of unabashed lies
denials and spin
Of obscene amounts
of money spent
buy or selling
a president
And those that have
can and do
their best
to avoid paying taxes
to the government
Will open their purse strings
with millions for a candidate
And woe for the mislead
and uninformed electorate
spoon fed by the media
and biased press
The process has become ridiculous
