the raven was quoting nevermore when I let the arrow fly and his breast became silent I placed him in the field of weeds to fertilize the soil and give it something eternal the years have come and gone but of that field it seems the weeds flourish as if immortal if only for me, they appear, always _______________ daark |

I guess this is a lesson we all have to learn Not to let arrows fly without thought of the consequences. Just what I expect when I read you dark.. fine poetry..:-) |

Thanks Ice...was inspired by a place where I buried a pest...how the weeds grew there better than where I put Miracle Grow...guess we just need to plant a few more pests and everything would be purdy! |

I used to have a weed-bed; I planted it on purpose - because they were prettier to me than the perfect. ![]() |

There is something primordial in this poem, that makes me relate. I feel empathy with the bird, with the weed, with the one who launched the arrow ... I have been "shot" recently and "buried", but I will continue to live and bloom as the little "Margherita-weed". ![]() Thought provoking little gem! Margherita |
