The afternoon bends weary
beneath a chill wind, peppered
by the Northwest's cloud du jour-
slate and dripping.

I am smiling.
This mossy morning cannot
wash it from my lips-
a bronze-limned future
waits, in molten motion,

beyond my wet horizon.
Soon, soon.

By the time the crocus
gazes up to ringing skies,
wearing the early honeybee
on its purple hem,

I will be on my way
to gold tomorrows.

Wow... Great imagery., picturing the crocus in my mind. I will keep my personal interpretations to myself here... But know I found this quite moving. I hope you have many many golden tomorrows with us.
