Autumn Forest Lake soft clouds drifting in a bright, tall sky... bird-shadow pathways through these daydreaming hills… moonlight penetrating midnight ripples... (to fathom–dance with the spirits of these ancient waters) here, Natures leaves the mind without motion; the heart beyond all vanity, arrogance, or contempt; the spirit set free ... to touch the Universe and know only Love. ---b. e. adams (10/13/2012) (in tribute to my favorite season and my beloved Appalachia) |

And quite a tribute it is, Bruce. It is your style, and your style ranks up there among the so-called greats in the world of poetry. When a reader is finished with one of your poems, such as this one, he realizes he has been in the company of greatness. I feel that very much tonight. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Thank you so much, Jerry! (I'm humbled by your comment) ... however, the reason I 're-worked' that last poem [Time Passages (re-tailored)] was because I need to avoid 'reality writes' ... I'm simply not as versatile as many (most?) of you other folks. |
