Farewells Through the Autumn morning mist spectral hills seem to dance the wind, with the trees that sweep a grey and cloud-thatched sky. Here, falling leaves and memories are a rain of silence near the silver stream winding forever on its lonely path through this vexing world and far away like your heart. I know not where nor why. --- b. e. adams (10/7/2012) |

Forlorn and very sad poetry, Bruce, but written superbly. That isn't surprising. There's nothing quite like a broken heart to reach out and touch you. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Very sad, Bruce and yet you are blessed to be able to turn sadness into such beautiful poetry. Ida |

Your words write of a place that fits perfectly with a place I visited a week ago. We are beyond fall and into the early dawning of winter here - and you described what I saw that day. Good job, Bruce. Sad, chilly and well written. A |
