When first she says
"I love you" ...
On the cusp of
such a moment,
all Life seems to
hold its breath.
It is instead
the very rocks that
  breathe
and all the world
is eternal Spring.

Thanks to each and all of you for your comments on this 'write!' Along with serendipity, epiphany, and Susquehanna,
limerance is one of my very favorite words both as to how it sounds when pronounced and what it means.
