The moon upon the waters edge, glistens in my eyes, as a tear runs down my cheek, we say our last goodbyes. This is where we once met, many years before, this is where we fell in love, you warmed me to the core. Many years were happily spent, wrapped in each others charms, and now as you whisper goodbye, you're wrapped within my arms. Now as the moon begins to set, and the sun raises its head, I lay your lifeless body down, the only part of you that's dead. |
