Ten Thousand Stones

I would turn over
ten thousand stones
to find out if
you still loved me.
But honey,
if you know
what the end
result will be
can you please
just tell me so,
for how will I feel
if I make the effort
and even the last
one says no.

I don't know... Some things are worth the effort, even if the final result isn't what we hoped for. Don't let those stones weary you, nothing worthwhile is ever easy. Enjoyed your pondering.

Thank you JL, Michael, Startime and Lori...if love is your goal, if love is your dream it is worth turning over those stones...but in every relationship two people have their wills or their dreams and perhaps they don't share your dream...but if that is your dream I would agree its not good to give up, even though sometimes we must give up on another when the object of our love doesn't wish to share our dream....within love the other person comes to you willingly...James
