Mondays roll me slowly
out of my oh so cozy
The snooze having been
slapped into silence
to the very last minute
Coffee cannot penetrate
my sleepy shell

I groggy along
longing for my pillow
to rest my heavy lids
for just a little bit

Waiting for my
Bright and shiny
to show up
and save my day

I hear you southern! Today was unusually Mondayish. God forbid it feels like Monday all week. I hate it when that happens! Glad you enjoyed!
