I Write of Imagination / 25 Days in Guam Imagine the motion of the Pacific Ocean the pull of the tide the bronze surfer ride. Imagine whispering coconut trees swaying in the breeze. Imagine coconut crabs beneath the coconut trees swaying in the breeze eating the coconuts that fall beneath the coconut trees. Imagine Asian tourist from the Guam Marriot, the Hilton, the Outrigger Guam Resort, the Weston and the Hyatt Regency; swimming and surfing, parasailing and snorkeling, scuba diving and wind surfing in the warm waters of the Philippine sea and even me laughing and playing, soaking up the sun and having loads of fun. This is so light-hearted and simple. I love it. Maybe we make life too complicated and need to break it down to a beautiful day, palm trees and coconuts and bright blue water. Maybe. A |
