silence is an autumn leaf ~ gold tinted an after-colour of an evening sun fading on the other side of the ocean dropping relieving itself off its tree tip like a young bird outgrowing mother’s nest taking on the world tentatively first fiercely, the day after a rustler first snakelike predator, the day after after the storm comes peace often after the word wars comes silent contemplation |
