A Melody Marvin Gaye is playing at the coffee shop we look around to see who recognizes his sultry voice, sing "What's Going On" Oh yeah, we know who we are our heads bob gently shoulders sway lips whisper Marvin's words hum his melody Reminiscing back to that time when I was at... I was with... I was so... Oh yeah, I remember... Chemicals wash all over, our brain and other areas pulses felt everywhere a lucid day dream lips curl into slight smile Oh yeah, I remember... Now, plays, Deep Purple Child in Time... -------------------------------------- E.M.L. |

quote: Oh yeah. I'm there with you. Smilin'. Gaye does it Gaye's way, and there is no other. Oh yeah. Switching gears now and "Child in Time" become important. Those days. Music was alive . . . ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

This was wonderful, my friend! I have most of Marvin's, and most of Deep Purple too. "What's going on and Inner City Blues" rank one and two with me. And loved the write ... j. |

Ah, I was already feeling it, (that chemical wash you spoke of), then you mentioned "Child in Time"... that set me off. I absolutely love that song. One of those you can close your eyes to while you open up your soul and let it take you away. Epic! Michael |

Amazing how music can drag you back through time and suddenly you are there in a happy place in time,a great reminder of the power of music. Thank you for these words of truth.
