He had her eyes hazel with a mist of spring Their conversation was grace beyond the dessert rays between the monologues and elongated stares They were virtue lust lost along a silent stare With the privilege of summer glazing off the sun and blank canvass of a sky that adorned the winds plight and most of all, the absent heart that lay quiet. |
