Today's a day for laughter Cackling right out loud, Make a person smile today Captivate a crowd. They might look at you, And think you are quite odd, May tell you 'bout comedians, Out looking for a job. Make some faces-tell some jokes, Be a clown for just one day, You might cheer up a 'sad' someone, Make their worries go away. Smiles that are worth More than anything on earth Are the smiles that shine thru tears. |

Toe, my dear friend, sending great HUGS to you because you are reminding me of the man I have loved ever most in my life. so if and when you meet my Dad? Give him the biggest hug ever and say "this is from your Sunshine!" Now I know this ain't gonna happen for a great long time, but now that I've planted the seed, you know you have to grow the moment. And for a side note? He's going to give you a great hug back, for all of the encouragement you ever gave his gal! Love you! |

Wonderful reminder, dear Toerag! We all are in bad need of more laughter, it's as important as our daily bread indeed. People who can laugh are much healthier, that's a proven fact! But to make grim faces soften into a smile or perhaps laughter, isn't always so easy, but it's worth the attempt. Margherita |

Smiles that are worth More than anything on earth Are the smiles that shine thru tears. I love every line of this beautiful poem, but it's these last 3 that really grab my heart. Every smile is a gift... but these are truly treasures... and I always hope the giver knows how much they are appreciated. *S* Even the title gives a smile... This is wonderful! *S* |

thank you all for the gracious welcome back. Have missed you all and appreciate the replies. Suthern has influenced me alot to post again and I'm so glad that I listened. She is a jewel for sure and her poetry is so warm and much more polished than anything I can come up with |
