Uploaded with ImageShack.us The crow saw me and on cue On a high line wire it flew But I paid it no never mind Never thinking of a crime The sun was shinning bright Not thinking of my plight I passed beneath the crow Bombs away there she blows Splat on top of my head And down my cheek it bled I've a surprise for him My Smith & Wesson is grim He returns to that wire today Tonight in my fryer he'll pay. ©June 21, 2012 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ [This message has been edited by JerryPat2 (08-10-2012 12:48 PM).] |

LOL...crows are such unique individuals... in fact, I'm reading [finishing] the book IQ84...and a crow figures in it with distinction, but I'm not sure of the author's reasoning, just yet. Good chuckle. Thanks! |

Yes, Karilea, I have picked on the pesky birds for years in my poem. They deserve it. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

But, dear Jerry, that was a blessing ... and I bet the crow was quite satisfied by having centered you (here it is considered good luck ...). So you might want to change your intentions and try your fortune. Smiles. Margherita |
