Peace Filled Mind I reach out to the clouds looking for a vision touching softness of day letting harmony grow No matter the harshness of a world in turmoil with anger and hatred my heart feels tenderness Read words that touch the soul with visions of sweetness written from deep within from the muse of poets I feel the gentle winds caress my burning flesh suddenly skies darken the velvet night descends Searching the star-filled skies hoping other eyes see eternal universe sharing the moons’ fullness The heart will ever be existing love to share offering perfect truth from now known peace filled mind Karen Mc Neil August 1, 2012 *may our dreams ever be magical* |

Karen I think this is one of the finest poems I have read here,I particularly like these lines- "Read words that touch the soul with visions of sweetness written from deep within from the muse of poets' to me that says it all about the sometimes cathartic experience of writing poetry. This is beautiful stuff and deserves highest praise. Thanks for posting it Karen. Cheers Nigel You may as well give cherries to a pig as give advice to a fool- |

Another beauty, Karen. Much feeling and deep concentration within the lines of this poem. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

The peacefulness you write of comes across in such a gentle way. Your presence of mind is quite soothing to read and surround ones self with. Lovely Star~ |

some would say you are 'star-struck' my friend. I would say you're just a caring, feeling, loving individual... well done. j. |
