    'Truths' Worth Knowing

Beyond the thunder's
  final cadence,
dry-lightning disappearing
over moonlit mountain tops.
A pine wind  from distant slopes
makes this forest-edged
   meadow dance
evening's tune in  cicada
   rhythms,
for a pure mind washed clean
by the passing storm.
All around clear hints
of the only  ‘truths’
  worth knowing ...
Wilderness, eternal change,
love, and the compass of
   your own heart.

The truth is complex and yet so simple.

Love the way you tell it, like a breath of fresh air, so pure and sweetly scented.

How perfect are the truths of which you write...the drone of a male insect in music that attracts the female...my heart and soul journeyed through the storm and into the meadow following the male call...I love this poem...**BIG HUGS**
