Love's Footsteps

how can I ...

catch a cloud
hold a bubble
keep her heart

one never hears
the final petals fall
in Spring's passing
or the footsteps
of love's abandon
when it leaves
unexpectedly
by night or Winter
in the name of
perfect freedom
or uncertain fears.

How romantically beautiful is this poem...for me it is about joining thoughts, touching souls, sharing hearts...*sigh* your words bring out the romantic in me...I remember an old saying "If you love someone set them free...if they come back they are yours if not they never were" I am sure the quote isn't perfect but it fits how I am...I am free to be me and I admit I love it...wonderful writing...you inspire me as always...the world is filled with beauty and it is enhanced when shared with someone who sees it the same way...**BIG HUGS**
