I left this world under a cloud, My departure hailed by those behind, I rode high in the saddle of a blood red sky, Curses from the mass screwed into my mind. I am a man known by many names, A man seen by many faces, With a silver tongue and golden words I claim to be from many places. I have toiled in the murky highlands, I have raised my head aloft, Ignoring chill of the northern steepes, Tirelessly all day, I croft. But this kingdom is mine by right of blood, By the right of steel and fire, This is a place that I ruled alone, My absence turned the land to a quagmire. So my people, rejoice and chant my name, I have survived their foolish attack, A tainted past I have arisen above, Now and forever, I am back. |
