THE TASTE OF OUR WORDS 31 January 2012 Gather the flavours of my words and yours from all our days and touch-bind them, intermingled as they were born, into rainbow pages, in high-skyed flight, and savour them in closed-eye ecstasy as vintage wine, holding the aftertaste of them and us in sacred reverence to smile your heart breeze-gentle in meetings drear and on sighways wild and free these, our remembrance paintings our whisper masterpieces of now our promises of future canvasses we have yet to flood with colours the sky has not yet birthed. This tastes so good and has so much flavor. Much like spimoni (spelling please?) ice cream or a handful of jelly beans or spice drops. Love how it melds into my mind. xoxoo A |

Smiles and thanks, Alison. I don’t know what spimoni is (so sorry, can’t help with the spelling, lol), but yes, ice-cream, jelly beans, spice drops (though I have never heard of those either, but they sound lovely) and a matured red wine with an aftertaste to dream on . . . Owl |
