the street moon-lit, awash with lovers

to knock on my door

rich brown eyes sing to me

I sense serenity
I see a goddess astride her steed

Just a superb summation done so concisely.
Great images of the past drifing right on into the present changing tides of emotions.
Always better late than never, modern man's way of quoting Shakespeare.
Love the heart rendering the good times and the bad times.

I'm so happy for you, Jerry. I can't help but think though that it's such a pity that we have to go through so much useless stuff before we can truly understand what love is.
