The Power of Words Gazing into the heavens at clouds while waiting for evening to fall and lay a blanket of black velvet over a land settling for sleep All the night sounds add to the magic of romance that whispers in thewind the music to serenades lovers who flirt across the paths of star-fields Violin strings couldn’t be sweeter than the individual sounds of crickets singing under a full moon blending with the beat of natures song An owl whoo hoots in a tree nearby warning its prey it’s time to come play making distant lovers share a smile knowing the timeless rhythm of life The essence of fireflies brings delight seeing fairies fluttering about filling the night with magical glow tiny lights sent for lovers only Now gazing into heavens star-paths they share a night made just for lovers not knowing what the future can hold understanding the power of words Karen Mc Neil June 8, 2012 *may our dreams ever be magical* |

My my Karen this is such a nice gentle peaceful write. The contact with nature is so fulfilling the way you express it. "Violin strings couldn’t be sweeter than the individual sounds of crickets singing under a full moon blending with the beat of natures song" Very very nice work, it relaxed me as I read it. You combine nature, sound and the elements in your work that make the reader awed with your wordplay. You are at the top of the Blue Room's list of combining all three of the things I have mention, but always, always, you bring love into the equation. That takes it to the nth degree. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
