Regret Amidst the country air Trains that pass here and there You made me feel despair I was caught in your snare: Harsh words I could not bare Tangled with tender care My heart, you didn't spare With your soft country flair and your dark stone cold stare I had dreamed of somewhere, Something I could compare To this endless nightmare But in the end I did love you and I was left ever your due Juju -Juju |

so well expressed, pain don't go easy and regrets occupy our lives with some obscurancy (for myself it has been a very long time, a lost time), thanks juju for the touching and delicate poem, yann |

Ah, old story with a fresh outlook from your intriguing pen. What looks so promising in the beginning all too often becomes that nightmare you spoke of. Painful write. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

"I was caught in your snare: Harsh words I could not bare Tangled with tender care" sounds all too familiar, Juju. Hope you are doing well, it is nice to see you here. M |

Excellent writing. Love the flow from loving emotion to frustrated and sad emotion. "Harsh words I could not bare Tangled with tender care" Love those lines, makes me think of some of the meaning to Sade's "Smooth Operator." You know, you look a bit like Tori Amos.
