Swan Lake The sunlight danced upon the lake Each ripple lapping to the tune Soft harmonies the mind reflects Of other songs that end too soon Upon Odette the spell was cast To glide by day a swan in form On magic lake from mother’s tears Until the night beauty adorns The Swan Queen now in gown so white Siegfried entranced her love pursues They dance away this night in love Odile’s disguise true love to lose Into the depths the spell to break To love in death, no more heartache |

Tragic love, but true love nonetheless . . . ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

The only thing I can find wrong with this is that I didn't write it. You are truly a talented poet and I look forward to reading more of your words. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "WHAT A RIDE |
