APRIL FOOL Hey! Out there on my green lawn What can I say? I think that white stuff Is here to stay. April---you think? Don't be a Fool. It's December I'm sure. Send the kids back to school. The Robens came back, Poor little things Huddled in a bunch To cold to sing. The Daffodils appeared Hopeing for Spring Mother Nature's gone mad Giving Winter a last fling. Nothing seems right Can't get through my head. So, I'm shutting the blind. And going back to bed. |

Billie - I remember many times around Easter we would receive one of mother nature's great blizzards. Not this year though, thank goodness... BC |

Yo dear BillyC, The idea behind this poem is very good. It's rather too warm here in Philly today. I'm looking forward to some of the cool weather coming our way. Love Bobby |

Sometimes it snows in April and I share your sentiments. This piece flowed very well. |
