Life, like war, has no rules.. The flesh turned putrid, the blood in pools.. Everyone running and screaming in terror.. Looking for hope in the hooded, mask wearer. But more than once,on him, your backs have turned.. Now, in your time of need..the favor, returned. I take no pity on any man here.. And your fate is doomed, as so i feard. All because no one took the time.. To smell the roses, to taste the wine. Too busy, caught up in trivial vanity.. Lending a hand to the decay of humanity. Now its too late, nothing can stop it.. Imminent destruction, hows it feel to be positive? Even now in these uncertain times.. The only thing on our mind is how we look at the time. Blantantly refusing to accept the truth.. Denounce reailty, discard the truth. Stow it away where no one can see.. the unfallible mistakes and the world, to be. I can see it, thats why you don't see me.. I'm too far gone for these troubles to catch me. To find me, merely look to the sky... Turn your eyes to the heavens, lend your ears to the night. Maybe you'll catch a whisp of me there.. Only to vanish...into thin air. The world itself is a fragile thing.. Corrupt powers stay balanced..never a true king. So united we stand and divided we fall.. To bad between us theres a dividing wall. Not one of nature, but of mans' hand.. You put it there to take a stand. Against the old, dull or dying.. But against those odds is when the real start trying. No longer dreams of peace and faith.. Instead, replaced, by fear and hate. Which is why, to me, seclusion seems best And perhaps, separate myself from the rest... And all of these problems that go along with em.. Hoping one day they'll all see my vision. No need for fear, no need for hate.. If its peace you want, than peace we'll make But a man's worst enemy looks him in the mirror.. I've painted the picture..it gets no clearer. Everyone of you is destined for sadness.. Or to be stuck in a limbo, eternal madness. In the end, the fickle, will lose their control.. Be steady, resolved, and deny the fall.

thank you so much...i don't normally post my poetry anywhere but i decided this one..and perhaps a couple others would, perhaps help people to better enjoy the small things that life has to offer. |

This poem gave me chills, It's very well written and thought out. I love the overall message. It's not easy being evil, in a world gone to hell. |
