I hear them as they make their happy sounds, all of them remind me of you, each one, a hoot, a sound, flying high above, so free, in all of nature, I wish I were as they are, with wings, fly to you I would, across the ocean, as you sit on the bench in the park, miles away, do you see me at all? As you ride your bike down dirt paths, wildflowers growing, forest of trees, hear the slow rush of water flowing, down over age old rocks, trickleing, Anytime a red fox appears, am I there? a thought for a moment shared in your head? or as the moon shines on your face at night, do you pause and reflect a time not long ago? through this journey, my story, you, only you, have remained, others have faded, your character never disappears, in every story, turning every page, There you are, in some word, place,song, sometimes I feel they say your name, if I listen closely to their chirping, carrying your message to me from afar, Maybe wishful thinking, but I know you feel me, sometimes you do think of me, and wonder if? as I do you, these are your words typed, just for you, left here, our connection, upon these pages of blue, it is 5:51 my time, I wonder what you are doing? I wonder..... |
