I am free 2/6/2010 4:02 pm The air is crisp and sweet. The breeze blows my hair- gently it tickles me. It is both annoying and nice. The birds are singing. Some just chirping... Flitting to and fro who knows where. The snow is melting. I see grass poking up here and there in patches. There's lots of mud and puddles. There is a hint of springtime- the sun, tho weak, is warmer. It caresses my face and it warms the depths of my soul. I close my eyes, turn off my ears and let my spirit simply absorb. I am free. "Ya have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince... just watch out for all the pond scum!!!" [This message has been edited by Miss Abagail Mannering (03-10-2010 06:37 PM).] |

Dear Miss Abigail Mannering aka Shanna Casering, The name jumped out at me that was the first thing I noticed. Then I started reading what seemed like a bunch of typos. I was reading it in contracted Braille, and at first it was puzzling then I saw that the ¡§mistakes¡¨ were actually consistent. Like #0 instead of O ¡K Anyway ¡K don¡¦t tell us what Abigail casering has to do with Miss Shana Manering, so that you will remain mysterious, intriging and inscrutable and I have to use my imagination!!!!!! ƒº Hey, nobody's human! |

Yes, the errors may be consistent but I got so wrapped up trying to solve a puzzle that I forgot what I had read. So I reread it and found it pleasant. If it was your intention to force readers to give your work a second read it worked on me. |

they were not errors, i simply had originally typed/wrote it on my cell phone, and often use 0 for o for the sake of time. "Ya have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince... just watch out for all the pond scum!!!" |

To be free is among the highest aspirations of the soul, and you've touched upon it with a lovely poem. I always think of the millions who live under oppression, and my heart goes out to them as I take in the meaning of your poem. Best wishes -- Art |

Ahhh...this reminds me of driving with the windows down, sunroof open, feeling alive. Thanks. |
