What good is life without love true Will peace of mind ever belong to me Can I say " I really gave it my all" Or am I betwixt the devil and the deep blue sea In dreams at night you come to me You tip toe on the edges of my mind All that you are brings peace to me You're so special and one of a kind I would trade all my worldly goods To be able to hold and comfort you dear Lay down my life like the good book says If I could always keep you near What price do we pay for love today Will it be enough to last, well I believe Will the haunting storms leave us be Or keep me betwixt the devil and the deep blue sea |
