For (Irish) John McGeough I am a composite Of a thousand disasters; But I have triumphed— I am a prince in a troubled House, still, but I rule With a sturdy heart, And a steady hand, And a sound mind. I am one of a kind Among survivors. What am I? I am a process Of recovery, continually, Living one day at a time . . . [This message has been edited by gilead (03-01-2010 11:11 PM).] |

John worked for me in Airport ground transportation, perimeter security, and special terminal services. He was a devoted, and trusted employee. He was sober for many years, and he was sober when he passed away and, I truly believe, very brave. Art |

Hello, passing shadows, I have been away from the site for a while, and I'm playing the old game of catch up, and I'm looking forward to reading your poetry. Thanks for stopping by ---Art |

Delightful! I don't rule in my house, but sometimes I have a say in things. Usually I don't get a whole day to live at a time. I take it minute by minute. Sometimes it's second by second. I like your poem! |

Thank you, GBride. It is pleasing to a poet when his humble words resonate with another. I am delighted you took the time to read, and to leave a kindly comment. Regards, Art |
