They can see Without really seeing They can exist Without really being What would they do If confronted by you? Something only time could measure No gold nor jewels in this treasure And when I’m alone Inside my mind, Nothing transpires, nothing hurts Inside my mind A place to go Without ever leaving A faith somehow Without even believing My body wrecked and shattered But none of this matters There’s a garden where I go In which the seeds of life grow And when I’m alone Inside my mind, Nothing transpires, nothing hurts Inside my mind |

All through college I practiced TM and it sure worked to keep me grounded. I can sure identify with this write, as I to this day, still can shut off the world and just drift into my mind. |
