Luna Hush Verdict of absolution, oh goddess Pyres pure thy reverence, set upon a silent earth Turning slowly, without motion, without sound Trace in alabaster, the glow of filmy clouds part lips One china cheek, a sense of awe flows golden its glimpse Stream behold mirror, liquid pursuit softly sway Inspirer of mellow mood, Gentle whimsy of night sky Thy vision is the yearning between darkness and light Prediction of waking warmth Hold registry of noble man and maiden fair To look upon thy veiled face, and know serenity Copyright Kkh 2/16/10 |

what a wonderful set of opening and closing lines in particular!: "Verdict of absolution, oh goddess Pyres pure thy reverence, set upon a silent earth Turning slowly, without motion, without sound Trace in alabaster..." "...Hold registry of noble man and maiden fair To look upon thy veiled face, and know serenity" serious applause for this 'penning' ! |

Wow. This is beautiful. You are my twin in writing style, although you are talented and I suck. I just prefer attempting to write like this, the classical sounding style of poetry. You are always perfect in this Kathy. |
