Heart Shaped Holiday

Pink and red, the colors of choice,
For the Heart Shaped Holiday,
Cards with prewritten words of love,
Express what we want to say,

I am loved, and I love in return,
But the Heart Shaped Holiday,
Helps those that have a hard time,
Show those feelings, they display,

I love the little things we do,
Sharing our Heart Shaped Holiday,
Little tokens are always appreciated,
And lead to romantic loving play.

And yes, there will be flowers,
On this Heart Shaped Holiday,
Never because they are expected,
I use them to hold my poetry.

We cherish the depth of our love,
So on this Heart Shaped Holiday,
When I say:“I Love you”
You know I will, unto Eternity.
