                    Winter Dance

Our perception completes each fine image
on such a night of white-winter moon
painted on its background of gentle stars
above the wide silver river running forever
along its homeless way through these endless
   mountain forests.
Here the tender, unbound spirit may dance
in harmonious stillness with all that is living
   and that which is not.

Your offering had a very Native American feel to it... perfect for the environmentalist in you. An enjoyable read. Peace.

I often enjoy a walk in the moonlight ... a clear winter night, air clean and crisp, snow crunching with each footstep ... nature's intent, the only sound ...

enjoyed
