She knows to breathe and yet would hold each in-breath of the past to feel it travel slowly through each fragment of her being and they are fragments now because the whole of all she was imploded long ago. It's a shattering beyond the call of trials and tribulations and she can't say now today why a mountain grew and prospered from the tiniest molehill. Sometimes it's not her mountain but she climbs as one bereft of all directional sense until the fall and roll into the knowing. It's the exhale of all that was that forces on the weak a barefoot walk on the beach of no peaceful relief but the sea is like a buffer and she bends into the feel like one who knows to be cleansed naturally. Spent, bedraggled, like a waif; how can it be she's beautiful when ere she thinks of you? Helen / 31 December 2010 |

Maybe because I want to be her...(all beautiful when she thinks of him) Hugs to you Helen~ |

Deeply sad Helen but deeply beautiful writing. Lingering hurt is such an enemy of the peaceful existence. Things come apart sometimes and the mend is long and hard but it can be done!! Super stuff Helen Eric ain't doin nothin at all just answerin the call and kinda driftin away from it all |

Oh, dear Bluesy, now I'm crying too. Must be because I also want to be her. Helen |

Thanks, Eric. All things are possible except those that aren't. Sorry, I very much appreciate your comment and you are, of course, right. When one has a good and bad day all in one it leaves one ... unbalanced. So from the unbalanced, Happy New Year! Helen |

Hi Jo - I think I had to write it to wipe the tears away but strange how they always come back again. Crazy like their owner, no doubt. Helen |

Helen, it's the bad that defines us, and makes us who we are...we have to choices, to accept change or to fight it...or just allow nature to have her natural way...some of her ways are very long, and others are not...you are an outstanding poet...your poetry reflects what you see, and your eyes are window to your soul...and that soul is magnificent...you are very special.... love you Lee J. |

Yep. Those last lines is like a sucker punch, you just didn't see them coming. Love the whole show, but the last lines knocked me for a loop. To mimic is a form of praise unless |

LeeJ - My reply could be flippant like a wave or serious like a grave but Ive opted for a simple "thank you very much" because I know you know less is sometimes more. This is one of those times. Jerry - Thanks and, yes, they knocked me too. Helen |

"but the sea is like a buffer and she bends into the feel like one who knows to be cleansed naturally." Yes, indeed! |
