Donde es Amo?
(Where is love?)

It could be in a whisper,
Of a private things I've heard
I sift and sort the message,
As I replay each word.

Maybe hid within a glance.
A picture painted sweet,
Imagery’s excitement,
Reality… Retreat!

Possibly a magic touch,
Warmed embers in my soul,
I now begin to hunger,
For what can make me whole.

I question if I’m in the thoughts,
But I’m afraid to know.
There is a chance instead you see,
My dream would have to go.

Oh I understand...I can remember the sitting and re-playing each word! Lol

Best wishes for the ending you seek

Aw, sometimes the anticipation is far better than the reality. but then again, how are we to know unless we venture into the lions den of amour.

To mimic is a form of praise unless
you have no thoughts of your own

Jerry, "anticipation"
puts me in mind of Paul Simon's "Kodachrome", ...I know they'd never match my sweet imagination...
Thanks for your comments.
