you were like evening in a white kite sky
throwing gravel shadows across my eyes
just letting me see enough of your music

to know you had been there again
but you still didn't stay long enough
for me to actually remember seeing

more than the sounds of looking back
and looking through those parted blinds
always with my eyes closed too it seems

and those tattoos in the dust on the glass
were they from your fingers on the outside
or from mine on the prison side surface

left as temporary keys to heart locked letters
_______________

daark

abandoning of butterflies is surreal in its comcept, daark as is most of your work. The image of "those tattoos in the dust on the glass" is quite profound as was the following line. The wanting, the lonely wanting build into a type of insanity when you are constantly on the outside looking from within and are never able to touch the music.

To mimic is a form of praise unless
you have no thoughts of your own

I'll never know how you make it look so easy, Datk. Your lines are like jewel boxes, with treasures for those who have the key to open them.....pleasures to read.
