The new landfill stinks. Rents by the river are down. Not much Holly left. ___ Railroad tower bleak, roiled by vagrant shrubberies--- rusted gantry's keep. ___ Foghorns, not corpses. From here the once-pebbled creek becomes a river. _____ |
